Ask a Coach: Why is a Talent Culture Important to My Organization’s Success?

Developing talent is not a one time effort. For organizations to be continually successful, they need to populate vacancies, and move great talent upward continually.

This calls for a talent mindset culture. When you have this type of mindset in place, filling open positions can be an opportunity that the organization celebrates, rather than fears.  It is essentially pro-active form of succession planning. Through the regular development of these candidates, ideally, they should be able to walk into the new positions without skipping a step.

When it is cultural, it is part of the fabric of your organization. On a scale of 1-10, how “cultural” is your talent development?
