Start on the Right Foot When Meeting Someone New

Well, I couldn’t have said this better myself…

How many times have we pre judged people, only to stop the relationship even before it had a chance to start?

I remember times when people have been openly intrigued and happy to meet me, and others when I felt like I had to prove myself even before we got into a conversation. I also remember which of those two scenarios helped me like the person more. (And which one – less.)

The solution is simple. Give people a break. Assume that they are awesome, and that you just haven’t found out why.
