Pausing… and Beauty

We have been talking about the value of pausing this month. And part of pausing is what to focus on when you pause. Not that you hafta focus on anything, because taking that break is paramount to re-energizing your re-entry.

Here is a verse by Jonathan Lockwood Huie that hits the mark:

Pause to appreciate the beauty around you.
Whether rainbow or butterfly,
mountain or tree, painting or poem –
whether crafted by nature or by a human hand –
beauty adds a magical element to life
that surpasses logic and science.

Many times I find peace in noticing the beauty in things, people, nature. I feel that my blood pressure actually goes down a notch or two! How about you?

All it takes is a quick stop, to PAUSE, and appreciate.
