Count to Three — AFTER They Finish

Here’s a challenging Monday Motivator —

When you’re talking with someone, and you “think” he or she is finished with the last sentence, count to three (to yourself) before you respond.

Many times, people aren’t finished. This practice gives them a little space, and avoids you appearing to interrupt. And yes, your respect for the other shines through…

And if they ARE finished, no harm done. Right?
