Dwight D. Eisenhower (Ike) says it plainly:
“You don’t lead by hitting people over the head—that’s assault, not leadership.”
Challenge: Lead with respect, not force. This week, pay attention to how you influence others. Are you inspiring or intimidating? Swap control for collaboration, and see how much further your team will go.
While the “stick” might work, the “carrot” is much better.
