Be
Curious...
by Marsha Egan
*Note: I just spent some time with Bernie Daenzer, one
of my
self-selected mentors... As he approaches his 91st birthday,
he repeatedly attributes his business success to "staying
curious." Here's to you, Bernie!
Be Curious!
Successful people are curious.
Their interest is continually piqued.
They never stop learning.
"Only the curious will learn and only the resolute overcome the
obstacles to learning." --Eugene S. Wilson
10 SECOND REALITY CHECK
How curious are you?
How often do you accept things, without questioning?
Do you learn from your curiosity?
"What we have to do is to be forever curiously testing new
opinions and courting new impressions." --Walter Pater
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Curiosity challenges your brain.
It keeps you sharp.
And... you can always be more curious...
"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has
its own reason for existing." --Albert Einstein
SO, WHAT WILL YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?
Ask "why?" or "why not?"
Challenge yourself to think... more.
Think alive!
"Seize the moment of excited curiosity on any subject to solve
your doubts; for if you let it pass, the desire may never
return, and you may remain in ignorance." William Wirt
A PARTING THOUGHT:
"Question everything. Learn something. Answer nothing."
--Engineer's Motto
Have a curious week!
